Microsoft office CD key retrieval

I want to do a clean install of a computer that has MS office installed, but i don't have the CD key for office. Can i retrieve it from the computer in some way before I wipe the hard drive.

I'm not looking for suggestions on how to get another CD key, as this needs to be legit.

what can i say, i'm lazy!
actually i considered search but given the search system on here doesn't recognise 2 charachter words i thought i might be wasting my time with 'CD'!
