Yeah, but only because they had paid the full cost of the phone initially. We haven't done, so I doubt it will be available for the next iPhone.
They'll want the chance to tie us to another contract. I'm not worried.

Yeah, but it doesn't benefit them to do that now. With previous iPhone owners they're getting an extra couple of months plus, possibly someone using an O2 simplicity sim with their old phone. With these they'll treat it like a normal phone!
Yeah, I guess.
Has anyone got a link to that youtube video where putting a hand over the back causes the signal to drop off, then come back again when you move your hand? I'm pretty certain mine is doing that...
So, off I popped to the Apple Store, which is thankfully a whole 15 seconds walk away. 10 minutes later I walked out with a new iPhone. Bargain you may think. Wrong !
Did you go back then? I didn't notice it before the software update. I definitely notice it now though!
Do you live IN meadowhall or something?![]()
I read that the silver border around the screen is the antenna. I wonder if touching that it alters the antenna's properties? Extra capacitance?
The antenna is part of a load of different bits on the camera, the trim around the camera lens, the trim around the phone and a couple of other bits
Was quite impressed when I heard it the other day
You're right about the £30 plan being useless, however there is some merit to buying "at the right time" because you're tied into a 18-month contract which you would have to buy out if you wanted to get a new phone early.
Nope, same way no one with any other phone has to pay for a contract![]()
Again, where did you hear that? Sounds interesting.
