I am more excited about what the modding community will bring to GTA IV on PC, having already played and completed it on 360.

I bought a 360 just to play this and because of work and other RL stuff, I haven't managed to get right into it, think I'm about under half way through it at the last play.
Was the same with San Andreas, I bought the PS2 SA bundle just to get a go on it as I could not wait for the PC port to arrive.
SA was much more enjoyable on the PC and I reckon GTA 4 will be the same. I much prefer the mouse/KB control method after years of PC gaming compared to console controllers.
Might need to make an upgrade or two, or do we have any info on min specs?.
I'm running an E6300 o/c to @2.8Ghz, 2 Gb Geil ULL RAM, an ATI X1900XTX 512Mb all on an Asus P5K mobo.
Reckon that will be up to the job?.

Here is a question, I used to play GTA 3 and GTA SA on the PS2. I do not use consoles anymore. I tried GTA 3 SA for the PC a while back on a keyboard and mouse.... couldent get on with it, namely the constant switching between keyboard/mouse (on foot) and gamepad (aircraft and vehicles).
I found a gamepad was best overall, but does anyone beg to differ? Or have a different setup?

Ohhh, didn't even think of that. I'm going to be so dissapointed if it's not on Steam now.
keyboard and mouse >*. it's ace for driving in gta:sa. especially the way you can swing the chase camera around with your mouse. and flying was a doddle too. i have a 360 controller for my pc which i use in other driving games but have never even tried using it in gta games. i just don't think i could switch quick enough when you jump out of cars moving at speed etc.....
I always use the pad on pc for GTA games. I did however use the mouse on that mission on SA where you have to shoot down all them RC planes and was a piece of pee doing it that way. IIRC i had many many goes and almost destroyed a pad on console trying to do that mission
