how do you mean 'hitting the hdd' the fan at the bottom is standard Antec one if you mean that, the fan controller aint wired up yet, ordering the 3 Scythes for it on Friday,. my dad got me the wrong fan..he got an Artic Cooling PWM fan, and it work with my FC..

Can I recommend something:

Move both the HDD/Fan cages up one slot, then put the blank slot at the very bottom, you can then push some of the loose cables under the HDD cage out of site. It will also put the airflow a little more direct into the cpu cooler. ;)

do you have a modular PSU? have you noticed a temp drop with all the wiring under control?
Your wiring looks a lot better than mine atm like:)

Do you have a pic of the other side of the case off so i can have a nosey at the wiring please:)

why have you put the silly beige thing that your mobo came with in? i thought i had plenty of USB ports, 2 front + 4 Mobo, + 8PSU (wont use, but hey)

Are those fans around the right way, i generally thought the way the sticker is facing is the way it pushs air.
And maybe a tidy on the bottom cables.
But looks pretty dandy.

generaly the side that is open is the side which draws air in, at least it has been on every fan ive ever used.

Im also using 2 4-port hubs.. Heres what I have thats usb
keyboard
mouse
UPS
printer
3 external hdd
gamepad
joystick
floppy drive/cardreader.

Think thats is, so all motherboard usbs are being used acept 1 header not being used at all and I keep my case usb socket free for my camera amd mp3 player.

Under my desk its like a power station, look....... and yes that ups is powering all those plugs and a few more:D

Its amazing that my tiny ups can wirh stand a 39.000.000 watt surge. The socket would blow off the wall before it killed the ups surely, and yes it can withstand that, cos I emailed belkin, cos that sounded so, so wrong..

Which UPS is that, i've been looking at these for a while but haven't a clue which to buy. are you better buying the more expensive models or are the cheapones just as good.

mine is a belkin 1200va/670watts with AVR, and its never let me down in 2yrs since having it, and to make sure my system is well protected in a storm the ups is plugged into a surge protector and that can hande a 45.000.000watt surge. So basically if the surge protector doesnt kill all of the surge the ups should finish off the job, or thats my way of thinking anyway.

This is my offering; albeit some slight upgrades since the pics were taken:

At OP; can you cut a hole with dremel/holesaw near to PSU to allow most cables to be fed to rear of MoBo case? Would minimise cable clutter inside case? THis is my 'dirty' side;

got no dremely thingy, neither has my dad, but with some look, at christmas ill be getting a modular PSU and Coolermaster Cosmos S case...

i think cutting the holes in the case was a good idea. think i might look into something like that, i certainly need to, im thinking of putting water cooling in my case and also im buying a modular PSu so that'll cut down some of the wires to:)

Nice job:)

You don't need an expensive dremel, I used a 5 quid hole saw from B&Q and produced this: ;)

Some tedious hours of filing later this resulted:

I then added some rubber edging and started the build. I will definitely be investing in a modular PSU next time round!
