Bad Company Conquest Mode Update Now Live

Yeah I did that and I got into a goldrush game.. so theres no way of choosing what gamemode to play? Thats abit silly not to include the option
 
It's a change to the game but not something I am not used to as most battlefield vets are. I love it though, I can't see any weather effects I thought there would be rain and snow but I can see changes in maps. Petty you don't get neutral cap points but all in all I am glad they added conquest.
 
the download is on the marketplace and the game will also do an update.
dont make the mistake of thinking the game update is the maps like my brother did..he could'nt understand why there was no conquest mode after the game updated.

lol yes... that was my mistake earlier. Like a muppet I inserted the game into the drive and saw the "this game needs updating" so assumed that was actually it. Never mind :D

I played quite a number of matches and I gotta say I really like it. This game mode should have been introduced from the word go! It is after all how battlefield has always been. Its strange as it does feel like i'm playing on new maps, and yet I know i'm not!

In general team communication is bloody terrible in this game. I've found conquest makes a few more people than normal connect/turn on the mic than in goldrush.
 
Im not sure ill like this, one of the great things about the gold rush is that both teams are focused on attacking/defending one village at a time. The old conquest games usually lack focus with people running off to lots of different flags, so there are lots of small battles going off rather than one big awesome one at the goldcrates. Ill give it a try though.
 
Its OK, but I always prefered "push" maps on BF becasue they were more focused, which is I guess why I like Gold rush so much.

Its a nice change and frankly its free so its all good.
 
Loving the new game mode, if anyone wants to add me for a few games over Live, then feel free. Gamertag is in my sig. I always seem to be on the team of idiots though, driving vehicles off straight away, not using any kind of tactics to capture flags. Everyone just seems to want personal glory
 
haha i find it funny how i keep getting top scores in conquest with PS3 PAD :P when people play with keyboard and mouse, but people just don't know much about conquest :| as it looks

Yeah i know what you mean. I went back to playing goldrush as it felt more intense and enjoyable.
 
not enjoying this at all.

had 20 mins on it last night and got to fire about 3 times at anybody. generally snipers sit and wait for you to spawn then shoot you. Not fun in the slightest and lots of them around.

quite frankly it was turd and reminds me more of ffa gaming.

I thought gaming had moved on.
 
was it harvest day that you were getting sniped on?
have found that map to be terrible for team play as all they do is snipe!!
