GTR Evolution

For Anyone interested, the release date looks to be:

Friday, 29th August 2008

£20 for the full "Bundle". Not sure how much the "Expansion" is on its own.

Anyone know if the previous GTR games have built in VOIP?

If not, then I will likely be going for the Steam version.
 
Finally...they did announce a release date for the end of July but then it got pushed back. Can't wait for this :D
 
Hear hear - I still play GTL,GTR2, and Race 07 daily depending on the mood.

Really hoping GTRE allows for easy skinning like Race 07, also hope that the next simbim game is a GT Legends 2 type game as the car variety was so much fun!

GT Legends is by far my favourite sim game. Races were always so exciting. I always drove the 76 Vette, can my straight line speed make up for the fact that 911 can take corners?? Lets find out! ROAR :D
 
Delayed now till 21st August. Only a week but annoying http://www.virtualr.net/

To top it off 10tacle who published GTR2 and GT Legends has gone bust. Today the multiplayer lobbies have been switched off :( obviously paid for by 10tacle rather than Simbin.

There is a patch for Legends that allows the direct IP to work without logging into the lobby server. See here for details. Hopefully something for GTR2 coming as well.
 
Sorry maybe I am panicking a little. The GTL lobby used do be up and down a yoyo but the GTR2 one I've never seen go off. Seems a little odd for both to vanish at the samee time and racers are preparing for the worst.
