What has been your favourite gig

Can't nail it down to one, but some memorable ones...

ZZ Top, Bryan Adam, Little Angels, The Firm, Thunder @ Milton Keynes Bowl, 1991
AC/DC on the Razor's Edge tour @ Birmingham NEC, 1991-ish?
GUN @ Exeter University, 1992
Pink Floyd on the Pulse tour @ Earls Court, 1994
Imogen Heap @ Birmingham Academy 2, 2006
Nickelback @ Wolverhampton Civic, 2006
Muse @ Birmingham NEC, 2006
Newton Faulkner @ Birmingham Academy, 2008

There was a Bon Jovi gig at the NEC some years ago that I really enjoyed too, but I probably shouldn't admit to that.

Muse at Wembley Stadium - June 2007

OMG I bet that was SO! good!!!

Would have loved to be there!

Gotta get to a concert soon, never been to one :( (I'm only 15 though :p)
I want to see Velvet Revolver sometime, Muse as well. However the one band I would love to, aren't together anymore, well, not the original line-up :( SO disappointed I never got to see them :(

(Guns N' Roses)

A tough one.

Misery Index and Total ***ing Destruction at the Ottobar for the Terrifyer record release show. I Loved TFD and had a ball, but was never really into Misery Index till I seen them live.. wooo-weee, they were amazing and I've been a fan ever since.

Fantomas at the Black Cat in DC. Nothing much to say, it's Fantomas and I got to stand inches from Dave Lombardo. It was almost too much fun.

Stinking Lizaveta. Went expecting nothing, and seen some of the best playing I've witnessed in a live situation. Electric stand-up bass being tore into like nothing else, and the guitarist shouting into his pick-ups made for some really awesome "vocals". Just intense and awesome.

One of those three.. I think.

Metallica at Earl's Court, December 2005. 4 of us went dressed as Santa, got a standing ovation from the crowd, James gave us a shoutout and Lars wanted to know where his ******* bike was :) Had so many people getting their pictures taken with us, was an amazing experience.

Other than that, Muse at Wembley last year was the best concert I've been to. Possibly the best live performance ever, loved it.

Having worked in a music venue in Glasgow for twelve years I've seen loads including Prince, Pulp, Ocean Colour Scene, Barenaked Ladies, Bad Manners, Terrorvision and Megadeath. A truly eclectic mix.

My own favourite has to have been The Presidents Of The USA. Two hours of non-stop mayhem. Great stuff.

Rammstein Live Aus Berlin 2004
Isis @ Koko 2006 or 2007 can't remember when exactly (it was when they performed the whole of Oceanic in its entirety)
Justice @ Benicassim 2008

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Will probably add more later on today.

Cult of Luna supported by Brenda at Southampton Joiners. 21st Feb 2007.

Absolutely tiny venue, amazing atmosphere. Brenda were really, really good too. Was great talking to both bands before and after, lovely guys. I loved it :)

Radiohead. Wolverhampton Civic Hall. 16th May 2006.

Tiny venue considering the band, it was brilliant.

Hard to say really, as I've never been to a gig and come out thinking 'wow, that was amazing!'.

Best would probably be Oasis @ Rosebowl 2005, but only because I'm a big fan, the gig itself wasn't mindblowing.

Most suprisingly good would be Kelly Clarkson at the BIC around 6 months ago, good vocal range and adapted well to a variety of styles.

I am so annoyed I missed these guys when they toured in July :(

Eternal Kingdom is SUCH a good album.

Also adding Tool @ Hammersmith Apollo a couple of years ago. That was an unbelievable concert.

My first ever concert was Bon Jovi @ Milton Keynes Bowl in 1996. Take pride in your Bon Jovi love!
