I wouldn't take her anywhere where you wouldn't usually go/spend as much. I mean, if it all goes well then you could find yourself having to repeat it. :p
 
go a for a drink and take it from there, If you really want to see if she is sound suggest you go to burger king and then just take her somewhere nice, if shes is mental she will shoot her mouth off and you take her for said burger king and you get her to find a seat upstairs while you run off and cut your losses.
 
If you're at Liverpool Street, I would recommend the 'Magpie' up New St - right opposite the main entrance to the station. Quite lively bar, and they do great pub food!
 
Eat & Drink in Liv Street. Cheap Chinese, Cheap drinks and karaoke. You'll either win fantastically, or lose fantastically.


On a more serious note, go to the Magpie pub down New Street (directly opposite Liv Street entrance on Bishopsgate.) Excellent little, traditional pub.

Oddly my friend was meeting a guy after uni at Liverpool St (that she met via gumtree), couldn't be the same girl? lol (Alexia being her name).
