I think the sensible thing to do would be to judge each case on its own merit. I would be interested in the two questions posted below:

Two questions arise here. First, why would military authorities would allow a UFO to get so close to the Crawford Ranch? Second, why would the FAA allow radar data to be released that confirm an apparent national security breach at the “Western White House” involving a UFO?

Coastguard pager just went off... called in, they said they've had 999 calls reporting flares (i live on an island, boats get in trouble)

6 coastguards just saw a bright orange light rise up on the horizon, move slowly across the sky (no flashes, solid light), then disapear after 5 minutes, probably moved acros 40 degrees of the sky

5 mins later, EXACTLY the same happened.

I don't believe in aliens, but this was weird.

we had to investigate it if we're called out.. not natural phenomenon, far too bright and uniformly moving.

Would I be correct in assuming you do not think it a flare as you described the event as weird? (Long-winded way of trying ascertain if it was a flare).

They are ALL UFOs as they are all unidentified flying objects.

This doesnt necessarily mean they are space aliums.

Correct, 6 well trained coastguards all agree it wasn't a flare, not plane.

I have an image in my head of a boat full of people sinking whilst 6 well trained coastguards discuss whether what they saw was a flare or UFO
