Can anybody else get to sleep after a night out?

I always find my mind gets really active and racing - but not on actually anything at all and I can't sleep, just end up half asleep.

Haha, wish i had them powers, mine usually goes, head hits pillow, lie down for 10, go to toilet, come down, goto sleep, 30 mins later, goto toilet, go back to bed and ill just lie there sometimes for hours.. then i always end up waking up early in the morning feeling like i have had like about 10 mins sleep.

I have no problem getting to sleep when i have had a few beers, i find it actually makes falling asleep easier but i do always wake up stupidly early needing a drink and then i am awake for the day

After a couple of bottles of wine or whatever , i can sleep like a baby might go to the toilet once or twice , but then go to sleep right away.

I sleep like its a hobbie, i can even sleep whilst walking. So no, i have no troubles falling asleep after a night out and usually sleep for around 15-18 hours after one.

Iv always wanted to know if its possible to sleep for 2 days.

If its been a big night out and i feel crap, room spinning etc usually just drink lots of water, make my self ill and sleep with my leg on the floor, if its just been a steady night i have a few shots of a nice whisky and that seems to about knock me out, usually stick radio on as well :)

Always usually get up really early as well no matter what time it was i went to sleep :/

I find that a heavy night on the booze can cause nasty cramp in my legs, causing me to wake up in agony :( Apart from that, I sleep well.

I usually down a pint or two of water before going to bed as well.

If I'm smashed then I can fall asleep anywhere, if just had few then it takes ages for me to doze off, usually though if I'm away with its like 4am and I've been up since 7.

Alcohol stops you having cycles of REM, which is why you wake up after about 4 hours. A cycle of REM lasts around 3-4 hours IIRC.

I've found many a time I've found it hard to sleep after a night out and usually it's hell. Most of the time though, I tend to just pass out, which is for the best. :p

No problem at all, I usually sleep great after a night out, although the first 2 mins in bed is a bit weird with all the spinning mind...

Does anyone else find that they are a bit miswired the next morning after a session? I mean like a mini bout of tourette's - or randomly talking to yourself/thinking out loud?

I find it easy to sleep unless the rooms spinning in which case I feel ill and get annoyed at myself. I often wake up after a night out with no energy in my legs at all, its really odd
