As with any experiment.

No one has any Idea what the final result will be..... they can just make assumtions based on similar experiments.

And as we say at work.....Assume....Ass..U...Me.

There's a slight possibilty that the earth may be vaporized in a millisecond......but that might not be a bad thing when you think about it.
 
looking at some photos of the different bits its hard to get a scale of it. i mean they could have dotted some stuff about so you could scale it in your head.
