Failed exams

Who has failed exams over and and over again but passed on the 3 or 4th attempt.

The only exam I've ever failed and I failed it twice was my flute diploma. The thought of failure makes me work harder so I usually do ok.

I failed GCSE English (D) Took it again in the 1st year of college, submitted the same essays i did in school and got a B. Go figure.

You're no doubt feeling like an ass. Chin up's the best and easiest to give yet hardest to do advice (if that makes any sense).

Talk to parents, talk to mates, they're there for you.

D isn't a fail and courework is only something like 40% of the total grade.

Yea people do maths and english for GCSE during A-levels just incase they need higher grades.

Last year i had a shocker and got 4 U's ... did resits this year with literally 1 hour of revision before the exam and got 4 B's.

Do you have to retake classes or can you just turn up the the exam? i think it would be a waste to retake a year of classes.

last year I didn't get what I wanted (far from a fail) at As.

resat one of my modules and got a similar grade in january.

resat all the As exams(9), and this year's A2 exams(9), and got AAB overall.

You don't have to take the class's (well you didn't at my 6th form) but odds are if you failed the course then going to the class's are not really a waste as its obvious you didn't get it the first time round and going to them will massively help you.

What a load of crap. It wholley depends on why you failed. Last year I failed one unit of my degree, at 36%. My final retake grade was over 80%.

Shame if it was capped at 40%, was it?

I had a similar situation 2 years ago, dragged my average down, grr!
