TF2 Heavy Update

Good point. I'd say the vid and weapon will be released together. But they said its going to be a "special installement" so I don't think they'd just tag it on to another update.

There are only 2 things left to be revealed on the heavy update site, yet according to rumor and other releases, we should be hearing about the final unlockable weapon, the new gameplay mode, and something about a new meet the team vid... which if my counting serves me right, is 3 things?

Either were not getting one of these things (which would suck) or Valve have had to combine 2 to a single anouncement to fit in with there timescales (which is bad planning, but then Valve and Good Time Management arent usually used in the same scentence)

If only people had this mentality with CS and CSS eh! Cos weve never heard people compare those two :P

Lets face it, game sequels will always be compared to each other regardless of how different they are :P Same as movie sequels and books and whatever else!

Obviously nobody is suggesting it is the same game, but people are unavoidably going to compare the two. Many people, such as myself, feel that although TF2 is a good fun game it is a far too dumbed down version TFC.

Much like Source and 1.6.
 
so whats coming along on todays update news?
anybody have any ideas?

my guess is that it will be another map/gametype detail
they will save the last weapon till tomorrow

cant wait for the update!!!

I have no antics at all, I just got annoyed at you going on about people not speaking in TF2, it's what the fourth time now, this is a freaking update thread.

Done this on a custom map before. There was a dispencer by a spawn door, which looked out to the battle field. I stood at the dispencer and didnt stop firing for an entire 20 minute round. Every time someone came near to killing me, i took a step back, the door shut, i was safe, re-healthed in seconds, step forward, door open, away i went again! :) Got pleanty of kills too :)

But back on topic, where the hell is todays news?
