Im just curious.

Ive worked in peoples houses in the past where its pretty clear that the man has got his woman through means other than pure romance.

Anyone here willing to admit that they have a Thai or Russian bride or similar?, and how happy are you if you do.

I reckon if i was single when i got to 50 or so, i would probably get myself a pretty young woman myself!.
 
A customer at a previous company of mine has one. Can't remember where she was from but we kept calling her Ting Tong when he wasn't around. He didn't used to hide anything either, he would often bring her in for a cuppa and a chat.

Hahaha, Im a bit too young and in a relationship anyway. but i was just curious because ive seen a number of couples where the bloke is about 50 and the woman is 20-30 and stunning, and fresh from the far east.

I have nothing against the whole thing myself, i think if you arent having much luck with women, and you have a bit of cash and are willing to offer a good life to a sexy young oriental woman, then why the hell not.

As long as you dont let her take away all your riches. then ya fine :)
 
I'd go Russian, they are often gorgeous and I'm not into Asian women personally.

How much is a good looking Russian girl for life? Do you pay in one lump fee or they just expect a certain lifestyle? Are they submissive?

Is there like Argos catalogues, but with women?

I watched the Louis Theroux documentary on this sort of thing and it's pretty interesting.
 
I dont know how the whole thing would work anyway, would be interesting to find out on the process.

I would go down the russian route if i was in the market for one. They can be beautiful and they probably dont stick out so much in public lol.

Its not a case of a price and a contract is it?, i assume you pay some kind of agency that arranges for you to meet and select the lady of your choice, then i guess you just gotta keep em happy!
 
My nextdoor neighbour has a Thai bride. Let’s just say the household gets bigger by the week. I've also been to Thailand and seen several examples of the sort of mugs that end up being taken for a ride.

Funnily enough I'm planning another trip to Thailand with my gf next month, and I found this on a tourist information website.

It's generally good advice to stay with a girl for only one night. This avoids the situation where after two nights, she considers you her boyfriend. This can produce jealous tantrums if you look, or are tempted by other girls - even if you are paying!


If you decide to take her on trips etc., be prepared to pay for meals, tickets and extras. A gift will be expected, usually anything gold - bracelet, necklace, etc., Gold is both a status symbol and an insurance when the money runs out. The pawn shop is never far away.

You can be sure you'll be asked for your Email address, so she can keep in touch with you, in case her family needs money. She will keep in touch with you, but be aware she may get help from friends or other visitors to write back, so don't write anything you don't want others to read. Sooner or later you may receive an e-mail requesting financial help because her mother is sick, or the family buffalo has died. The same Email will reach several boyfriends - not just you. And that's the start...

The above is general advice based on general experience, not every working girl is the same. You can have lots of fun and a great time, if you remember that working girls work for money!

It's very good advice. If you ever visit certain areas of Thailand the girls crawl over (some) western men like fly’s on ****. Not really much need to stay with a girl more than one night. Love you long time ;)

An acquaintance of mine has a russian wife who I am sure was shipped in. One minute no relationship, the next married, out of his league. She is a horrible money grabber to speak to by all accounts (and he is affable and quite charming but faintly gay).
 
My old databases lecturer had a mail order philipino bride, he kept bringing her into college to show her off and parade her around to show off how successful he was etc. also going on about how he was giving her whole family great jobs by paying them (peanuts) to write software for him...

We got him fired for being a ****:rolleyes:
 
I work in a college and all the time we have twenty-something Asian chicks coming in with fifty-something white blokes for 'Citizenship' tests.
 
I used to know a guy who was in his late 50's and always had an Asian girl on his arm, some times the same one for a year or so, other times it would be a different one each time you me him, he even turned up to a family party with two !

Can only guess he does it through the internet somehow !
