i know that overclockers have changed the warranty from 2 years to 1 year but gibbo said if you email him he would send a email back within 48hrs confiming that you would get the 2 year warranty anyone emailed him and getting confirmation as its been 4 days now and still nothing of him and emailed him twice now,

i was only giving the one of gibbo, will email the shop again and see what they say as i want the 2 year liked i was promised not just the 1,there was a few who were on about it but i guess they must have been sorted out or not bothered about the extra year

it was in one of the threads about it saying that all the cards had been dropped to 1 year but gibbo came on and said they would honour the 2 years just send him a email and he would send one back saying you were getting 2 years but no joy here,if you go on overclockers and look they are 1 year now

I'm sure Gibbo will sort you out. After this free shipping trial and other good offers on the way I doubt OCUK are dodging honouring this deal.

Should amend the title to say 4870X2 really, for what it's worth.

I cancelled my order because of the change in warranty policy and ended up getting the Sapphire elsewhere.

why ammend the title as they have done it to the 4870 aswell Durzel, but will give them time to sort themselves out with this new free shipping then see whats what as im sure if they stick with the 1 year after they have sold it with 2 year they have broken some rule but could be wrong

Well strictly speaking the specification of the card has changed, but I'm not entirely sure what the legalities are around this - other companies routinely obsolete a product overnight and if you were unlucky enough to buy the older product the day before then (I think) outside of the Distance Selling Regulations you're basically relying on their good will.

the thing is i bought the card when it had 2 year warranty next to it 2 year with HIS/ocuk but am i going to get it,ive emailed gibbo again and still not replying, guess he is going back on his word then,

just like to say after a while overclockers have sorted it out for me and im getting the 2 years so nice one to
Andrew Rodgers for sorting it

I 've just ordered a powercolour 4870 1gb version and I'm thinking if its possible to get the 2 years warranty (instead of 1). Is there an email I should reply to?

no m8 because it states now that you only get 1 year mine said 2 year when i bought it,but overclockers are honouring my 2 years so thanks again
