Well how many people in here plaed the game, i got it free with my quad core and from the adverts it was one of the games i thaught FWOAR i want a shot of that. I Personaly couldnt say this now i played it about 2-3 months ago and got seriously bored off all the little videos you have to watch. It would have been beter suited as a film IMO.

THANK YOU thats backed that up nicely.

I was discussing it last night with 2 hardcore xbox fans and they both agreed it was tipe. what i find strange is the reviews it got was good

Yeah same here, looked great but just repetitive. Could have been so much better. I could understand the repetitive parts to be included, like GTA IV star collections but no very little story and just involves the same thing, steal/assasinate/follow.

It was a good game, a bit more variety in the assasinations and missions would have made it more enjoyable...

Personally, I would have liked the game better if it was JUST based in the early times, rather than switching back and forth between the lab and the Anicus thing or whatever it's called :p

However it did run very well which is always nice.

I played it to the point you go speak to sum dude in the castle then all hell beaks loose outside so you have to go fight. and was like ok yawn im bored lets go start punching randoms in the face that was the only fun to be found

I was the complete opposite. I started playing it and thought it wasn't my kind of game at all. After i stuck with it for a short while i found i really liked it.

Flawed game but enjoyable, quite repetitive but the parkour roof-running stuff and combat is great so it's not too painful. Very nice presentation and graphics.

I played it for a few hours and quite liked it, and intend going back to it. I'm past the siege bit, but how far I can't remember. It's lovely to look at, but it's like a posh Dragon's Lair.

It was pretty repetetive but i still enjoyed playing through it, as above the free runnign side of it was good and i did enjoy running around the roof tops.

I loved it, once I got past all the training, and early parts.

I stayed up late playing my PS3 version each evening until I got it beat, which is unusual for me, as I usually like to relax with a film in the evenings.

I've just bought the PC Directors Cut version, so I can play it through again, with better graphics/framerate, and whatever the new additions are.

Each to their own! ;)

Vin.

Got it free recently too, and got round to giving it a bit of a try last night.

As above, I think it would have been better jsut setting the game in the past, rather than jumping between future and past.

They should have made the tutorial optional, the cut scenes should be skippable AND shorter. I am not far enough in to comment on repetitiveness, but the combat is quite shallow. I suppose after Ninja Gaiden, any sword based combat feels simple....

The game could have done with more role-playing elements - can see there is a lack of depth even with the little I have played.

Generally it runs well enough for how good it looks, but I do get frame rate dips into the 20's sometimes.

Will continue having a play through, but don't think it's the kind of game I will ever play more than once.

I wouldn't call Assassin's Creed pants, I just recently got round to completing it, already knew that the ending was going to be rubbish so didn't feel let down or anything.
It's a fantastic looking game and a great concept, I've only got it on the 360 but I can only imagine the improved visuals on the PC would add to the experience.

I think because I didn't sit down and aim to complete it as quickly as possible helped. I never found the game repetative because I never played it for long enough in a single sitting for it to be like that...
I enjoyed saving citizens, finding flags, running around and generally stabbing people in the face.

Looking forward to the next installment in the series.

It is weird I have not yet got bored of climbing the many towers for the eagle eye map expansion thing and then the leap into the haystack - love it!

The game is simple fun, I only play for small bursts and have been playing for a while and so it is not too repetative.

I imagine that a proper gaming session would involve climbing about 20 towers, two or three pick pockets etc and two or more assasinations would get repetative.

I agree with the above though that cut scenes need to be skip-able.

Great game.

Completed it twice on the 360 then got it on the PC and have completed it once so far currently trying to find all the flags/knights (1 knight left & only 2 cities to get the flags on now).

This is the website you need if collecting flags/killing knights as it contains the locations with screenshots and remembers them when you tick.

PC is the best version of all. Gfx are very good and the loading times & FPS are excellent compared to the consoles. Skippable cutscenes would have been nice but you can just walk away and make a cup of tea for 5 mins or so then come back and the next mission is ready (after watching them once-on the 360 you even have to button mash on the cutscenes to get an extra achievement!!).

I can see why people think it is repetitive but no more so than other game really.

Sort of game you either like or hate but really needs to be played over a few hours/days as a lot to take in at first.

No sequel until late next year according to Ubisoft.

The graphics card i've just ordered comes with assassins creed bundled with it.

I'm actually looking forward to playing it as i really like the look of the free running aspect.

Slight hijack!

Just out of curiousity how well does this game run on the PC?

I'm running:
ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe
AMD X2 6000+
4gb PC6400 RAM
XFX 9800GT 512mb (I know its a rebadged 8800gt but i really want to try the hybrid power function out on my motherboard)
Windows Vista Home Premium x64

I also game at 1280*1024 on a 17" TFT
