I really hope metallica play whiskey in the jar.. They didn't play it at the Wembley gig. The video may be pants, but it's a better version than thin lizzy.

Most covered songs were right the first time. Its not always about improving them just giving the song a different feel. FOB's cover isnt a masterpiece by any means but I enjoyed their creation. MJ's original wont ever be bettered and that IMHO goes for all his work.
