Apparently everyone who listens to this mp3 hears something different,

What i can hear is pretty boring tbh and wanted to see what you guys can hear,


Don't read what other people have posted as it can affect what you hear as you are thinking about it

*edit* it is an audio illusion, there are no words there but everyone will hear something different and it is usually relevant to their lives

This illusion was first demonstrated by Diana Deutsch at the University of California, San Diego. The recording features overlapping sequences of repeating words or phrases, located in different regions of stereo space. As you listen to it, you’ll start to pick out specific phrases. However, none of the phrases are really there. Your brain is constructing them, in a bid to make sense of a meaningless noise. Indeed, you may find that the phrases you hear are related to what’s on your mind – for example, people who are dieting often hear phrases associated with food. This can be a very eerie experience.

no where in both the left and right channel, a slight change in the timing between the two half way through, and thats it.. dunno i was expecting something crazy and mental :(
 
I love things like this :)

If you listen to any repetitive sound over and over, things like washing machines, engines etc you can pick out different phrases/rhythms, tis called psychoacoustics, there's a new software synthesizer called Omnisphere made by Spectrasonics coming out soon that uses this principal.
 
Started off saying...

Nowhere (both channels)

then went on to...

When oh when (right channel)

then changed to...

No Brain (left channel)

before ending with...

No Brain. No Win (left channel)


So, am I normal?
 
Nowhere, pretty constantly or the occasional noway.

I'm shattered though so might take this again tomorrow.

Maybe even when I'm drunk.... or in work?
 
I just hear ''no way'' by 2 women in both ears, 1 woman per ear and they say it not at the same time but at different times, but that's it, 2 women saying no way.


EDIT from about halfway I heard:

Left ear= no way
Right ear= Rainbow


I'm a bit under the influence of alcohol tho, should I retry in the morning ?
