I bought rump steak, how do i cook it?

DO it then?

I eat my steaks 1 minute a side, basically raw in the middle, seared on the outside to keep juices. But a Stilton sauce is traditional British accompaniment.

Anyway, go cook your damn steak..

h and buy fillet not £3 steak from now on.

with £3 steak your best bet is to make a steak sandwich with either a baguette or some hardy toasted bread. seriously one hell of a snack.

and with steak, cracked black pepper sauce for me thanks.

mm..well I'm cooking rump steak cut up in slices which includes double cream and black pepper on top Saturday night.mm

'Beef stroganoff'.

I'd already planned this earlier today:P

I'm salivating after reading this thread at the thought lol

For stroganoff its onions, mushrooms and chopped fillet steak seasoned and flavoured with paprika. Then add a little red wine and a tub of sour cream. Serve it with skinny chips.

Yep all that included in it too - extra to that on my recipe is tomato puree and minus paprika . Apparently my recipe is a classic one ; never done it before.

:D

Looks quite easy.

Salt and Pepper both sides, let it get to room temperature, place it onto a hot, none-stick griddle if possible and cook for 90 seconds to 2 minutes each side. Place elevated onto something, it has to be able to breathe (two forks reversed on a plate will do it) for 2 minutes.

Eat.

Thinly sliced and done quickly in a hot wok with some chunky onion and mushrooms pieces. Then serve it in pita breads with salad and mayo (preferably garlic mayo).
