Looks so much like WOW, looks pretty good through.
I hope the gameplay isn't like DAoC never liked that game for some reason. Maybe i started playing it when it started to look dated.
Found some screenshots from the US beta, they're allowed much higher graphics settings than us at the moment :

Huge difference![]()
Great game though, had many a laugh on Daoc
Especially with my midgard healer throwing around mezzes all over the place. No mez in WAR though, but I'll still be a healer![]()
Some aspects of the gameplay are similar to Daocs (except the PvE is better), although there isnt anywhere near as much CC as there was in Daoc. Depends what aspects of Daocs gameplay you didnt like really.
A few mins action I recorded from an earlier zerg where choas were pinned back to their warcamp:

It's 1280x1024 res but quality isn't too great as I simply dumped it from windows movie maker on default settings. Gives an idea though.
I've only been playing WH for 3ish hours, so be kind.
It may have been many reasons, graphics were quite boring and the fact that my friend invited me onto a private server and power leveled me up. I had no grasp of any gameplay elements. I guess me playing WoW for 2 years did'nt do it any justice either as i thought WoW was the best online game ever made at the time.
I have to say i have a more wide spectrum when playing games now and enjoy more genre's and things i never would have touched 3 years ago. I have a feeling this will be good though.
I thought of a question, I always play on pvp servers and just wondered what the deal is with zones in WH, anyone whos played daoc and wow will know you could level to a certain point before having to move to contested zones, so is it the same principle in WH and how far can you level before it becomes ganking time?![]()
