Which Mp3 player do you think is the best?

I am using MediaPortal for all my media but the music player is very limited imo and requires playlists to get full use.

I need a player that can shuffle all my mp3's and play random tracks without the need for playlists as I am constantly adding & deleting tracks.

If you like iTunes, I suggest you try Songbird.

I am using it and its excellent IMO.

EDIT: New version (v0.7) is out for those that use it. Looking a lot sexier than the last version too.

Give Foobar a try, might take a bit of working out but the way i use it i just drag files from windows explorer into it and it plays the files. You could just add your entire music folder sort > random and you'll be fine. Plus you can make it look like basically anything you want

Foobar can be as simple or complex as you like, uses very little ram, and has a wonderful community around it :)

RAM usage much better now?

Would tell ya, but my PC just broke :/.

I don't understand why people care how much RAM their music player uses? I mean, even if you have photoshop, firefox & msn open at the same time, it's not exactly going to matter much?

That said - I am running 4GB :)
