Fast and Furious (TFATF 4)

My order of preference is 1, 3, 2. Didn't like the 2nd one, the story and the cast sucked. TD was pretty good thou, love the backdrop and the culture and that alone is better than No.2.

Looks rubbish to me, but then I thought TFATF films were aimed at 12 year olds anyway.

I was 15/16 when the first came out so these films were my kind of youth culture back then as I had older friends with cars etc. It would be a sin for me not to see this movie. The theme and soundtracks etc just appeal to me, despite how bad they are if you really look for something deeper in them.

EDIT - What happened to that UK based film. Was it called dolphins or something. Had a pink RX7 with RX8 front.

Same here, and I thought it was rubbish then too. All it led to was a sudden influx of people sitting around in badly modified Corsas listening to thumping loud music and thinking they were Vin Diesel himself.

The first was entertaining, the 2nd was godawful, the 3rd was a genuinely good attempt at a film and 4th.....well, looks set to return to the 'style' of the 1st film.

Which may in itself not be a bad thing - but if it goes anywhere near 2....

Let's be honest, I think we enjoy the TFTF films, but we all know they are ridiculous and a little chavvy at times. Classic's such as "manifold in danger", then the floor falling out, and brilliant examples of this.., with the chavvy aspect being full sound system's and strobes etc in race cars, er.. no. (not to mention the crazy long drag race, with each car having about 20 gears lol.)

I enjoyed Tokyo drift as I'm into Jap cars, but the acting was terrible as the lead character just didn't suit the part.

Liked the first one, didnt think much of the second one, thought the third one was horrible. By looking at the trailer for the 4th if seems as if they actually have cars doing the action scenes now, not just CGI. Good stuff :)

My thoughts exactly :)

were you having a nice relaxing smoke of crack whilst watching it?

The 1st was fun and i genuinely enjoyed it but then 2nd and 3rd were awful. infact the second film was so bad I can't even remember any details about it.

Hopefully this one will be better. looks ok from the trailer.
