Obviously people don't seem do get or understand the rules properly in regards to starring out swearies, I only make this thread in the hope that we can have proper clarification on this rule so that people don't make the same mistake many people seem to be making on here, I think maybe why some (or many) people may be getting confused is because I remember a while back that we was told that you don't have to fully star out all swear words but certain swear words you do ?

This is the way I understand it,

**** Safe obviously

**** not fine ?

****ing fine ?

Is that right ?

Fully star out your swear words

I always star out only the swear word itself, not starring any applicable suffix, for example ****ing. This may be in contradiction of the forum charter but until I am told otherwise then that's how I shall continue.

It's really not complicated - the actual swear word must be fully starred out.

What is so difficult about that?!

Everything apparently. I also fine it strange how people can't substitute other words/phrases for swearwords when it really is quite simple to do, especially as the meaning in which someone types a swearword is often lost on the interwebs. :)

I agree. I can't swear at work, especially to customers / employees but I seem to manage just fine - why people can't do that on here is beyond me.

Because some people swear almost all the time in real life, myself included, to the point whereby we cannot go through a day without swearing over 500 times.

Make of that what you will.
