I think it totally depends on the person who's talking to you and the situation. Also past experiences with the right person from that region/country probably help.
I'm sure most accents would suddenly be acceptable if it was a "model" from that region begging you to come to bed.
I don't know what part of London but I remember a few girls from a certain part. Whenever they said my name I nearly buckled at the knees and demanded they marry me.
There's a British comedian with the same accent. Lucy Porter, can anyone tell me where that accent is from?
