Samsung Omnia I900 owners thread.

whats the deal with volume on this phone? My sony ericson used to have a half decent equalizer and volume control....

Maybe im missing something..but when I put fm radio on how do i make it louder I have put the volume from the button at the highest setting...

Is there an equalizer/volume control im missing? :p

yes, on the microphone bit, there is a volume knob.
 
ops just noticed the knob...:o yea put the volume on phone doesnt sound too bad now :)

How can I tell how much data ive downloaded using 3G?
 
i have updated the ROM, taken of threaded sms using the CAB (which still means sounds work) and added the new spd shell

i am very very happy with this now.

just wanted to say a really big thank you to thought for all his patience helping me set this up..

much appreciated :)

no, not finding it slow, i think the new rom helps.

but give me an idea of what is going slow? you mean in general ?

Just seems quite slow in general switching between things, opening program etc.

Also now I have this windows live bar at the bottom of the home page , how can I get rid of this?

Yes, there is Vodafone software on it, can I not overwrite this with the new ROM?

I am on the ROM Paulus and Thought were on (the one before this new one) and i dont find it slow at all, it changes between apps without any lag...i get some now and then but nothing major (app loads but the icons take 1/4 of a sec to come up), and i think it is quite a bit faster than my N95 8gb...

Starting to sound like its vody software. Is there any other Vody users in this thread?

I'll be able to tell you if mine is slow when it arrives.

yeah it could be that, as you know the orange ones had no software on it, just fresh out the factory...and the only reason for the slight lags now and again is because ive put on around 9gbs of music and loads of random apps that im not using lol, which im going to delete now:p

You think its fine to install samsungs new ROM instead of vodys?

What actually has vody installed onto it? I read something about vody live?
