I have done the same :( Mainly because they were the partner for the Collectors edition so I had assumed that they would be for the Standard :mad:
 
So in the UK the only place you can get the version with early access is direct from EA, and at a cost of £13 more than other online retailers? Woah, I wonder why so many people hate EA.

Edit - Ah, just read the post above. So early access from any retailer? How will it work, how will they know you've pre-ordered?
 
Yea and if the stores not listed then no headstart or items or anything.

But they do say that some stores are still in negotiation, I'd guess some of the big UK stores will get a offer as well.
 
given that none of them are on there i imagine they are either negotiating, or havent ahd their response updated since i imagine EA mostly deals with things on US timing

i severely doubt theyd be silly enough to only offer these things via EA Store
 
are we supposed to have somekind of key or something? downloading the beta now but i'm not sure i'll be able to get in. I have 2 preorders already, one from a large music strore and also d2d.. its gonna be abit lame if I have to buy from ea too now. :(
 
I pre-ordered mine a long time ago. So D2D isn't an option for me.

Been trying in vein for a while now. Grr just connect :(

I'm sure a lot of people without open-beta access is downloading it also, hoping they'll be able to play.
 
Could have sworn I just posted =/ anyway hoping ****.com get their agreement sorted soon as I have one on pre-order from there as I'm guessing many here do. Want a hard copy =P so really trying to hold off D2D for now.
 
You know? I was introduced to this thread earlier. I've since spent the last 2 and a half hours reading through it. So thanks guys. I've just pre-ordered it.
The class most appealing to me? Well it's a mash up between the Sorceress or the Witch Elves.. So I'll play 'em both :D.
It's been a while since I've posted, I generally just glance the forums now and again since my interest in renewing my PC components every 5 minutes started to smart (read skint). Bravo everybody for coercing me to post, and keep me thouroughly entertained by this thread. To WAR!!
 
People who are unsure, like me, just hold on awhile and see what occurs with more retailors coming on board. With the UK market so big, i'd say atleast one of the major shops will come onboard.

I'am just d/ling now and seeing what happens.
 
Well Ive got my Download going but still no sign of being able to create my account and add my Access Keys.

Correct, 15th will be opening day for pre-order participants if they can maintain the servers from overloading (if lots are playing). you also get 2 free items as well which is a damage ring and a tent to assist OOC regen.
