He was probably chuckling to himself that he was sitting in a huge car with masses of luxury, air conditioned seats, double glazed windows and STILL the lightweight turbocharged Rover was only creeping past him ;)

Does it come with a small phillipino woman to massage you as well? :p

At one point Mercs entire petrol range was supercharged - not for performance. Just allowed them to give differing power outputs from the same sized engine.

Put it this way - the car you 'beat' was the Merc equivilent of a BMW 318 Compact :p

I find it amazing how much of an inferiority complex rover coupe drivers seem to have... Perhaps explains why so many of them are so badly and/or dangerously driven on the roads when they are 'proving their point'...

I'll go for a 320 next, start making my way up the chain!

You see, I always find it's the guy in the 330Ci taking stupid risks trying to get away from said Rover driver.

Woah generalisation time.

Come and drive the roads round plymouth for a few days and you'll see that every Rover coupe round here, pretty much without exception, is being driven by a moronic chav doing stupid things to prove how fast their car is...

Perhaps it's different elsewhere in the country, but I doubt it's just local tbh.

I guess its because they are so cheap that the type of people driving them is not what it used to be. Surely this observation of yours is typical of every chav in a 'sporty' car

I hardly ever see any in Reading nor the Midlands

It's just Plymouth, any car thats 10 years old or more and reasonably fast is being driven by a braindead chav with a negative IQ round and round the city centre like an idiot. It's hardly a Rover Coupe thing.

Infact most of them are in BMW E36's at the moment.

Sorry, confused. Not a coupe turbo. Its a 420 Turbo GSI. So I guess it's just as fast as a coupe (even though Andy's isn't standard)

I know, its still not a Coupe :p

Better though, the Coupe I had flexed loads more than my hatchback 220 Gsi Turbo
