Just got caught doing '60' in a 30

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the road in question. There's a dual carrageway road leading out of town and upto a long sliproad which is 30mph and is stupid. I often do 55mph as does everyone else. 5pm on a Friday I'm getting home asap :p

And it'll be a damn site shorter if you think it's fine to bomb around at 130-odd MPH.
No one cares if Frazz kills himself (well, I don't) - he can do as he pleases. It is the other people he puts in danger who have no say in the matter. Those are the ones who I worry about

Good for you then, good for you.

You would be worrying unnecessarily though, as I don't put anyone in danger, apart from myself.

But theres a time and a place as we ALL know.

150mph M25 at rush hour? er no.

150mph at midnight on the M1/A1/M6 Maybe......maybe.

You'd wish you'd though twice about saying that when the RTC cops are peeling you off the motorway after you hit an oil patch at 150MPH, if indeed you do ride a bike.

EDIT: Car it is then. There are still a number of scenarios that make 150MPH unsafe, even on the roads and times mentioned. Don't try and make up excuses.

See the thing is, all the Naysayers are coming out with If's and buts, and 1 in a million scenarios.

Anyway, I must bow out of this thread, I do my talking on the road.

It's not clever or big to boast about speeding on an internet forum, so that's enough from me.

It was fine when people were justifying why sometimes 30 is daft but now all this talk of doing 150mph everywhere is just plain stupid.

This is now a nut-swinging thread. I once did an indicated 172mph whilst racing a Skyline in my RX7.
