Tattoo t'experts!

Last words from me before I go to bed! I don't see why anyone would regret a tattoo, especially if it meant something when they got it. It's like a story in your life scarred onto you and you remember it so vividly. I have 5 tattoos now and I remember where I got each one done, why and who I was with. I've got this shamrock for an Irish road trip which has terrible god awful colouring in it, it was done in a shop called "The house of pain" in Ballymena and I think he was drunk when he did it. Tattoos are stories for friends and parties and you can look back on them with fondness or pride. Even someone with a swastika could be proud to say they walked away from that life, or they could be proud to be a Nazi.

Just follow the motto "No regrets, just stories" and life is great.

must have us just have photo's ...... but if tattoos are your thing then fine.

Tattooing has been a Eurasian practice at least since Neolithic times. Ötzi the Iceman, dating from the fourth to fifth millennium BC, was found in the Ötz valley in the Alps and had approximately 57 carbon tattoos consisting of simple dots and lines on his lower spine, behind his left knee, and on his right ankle. Other mummies bearing tattoos and dating from the end of the second millennium BC have been discovered at Pazyryk on the Ukok Plateau.[citation needed] Tattooing in Japan is thought to go back to the Paleolithic era, some ten thousand years ago.

....and?

I have to disagree with this, when mine was done on my spine it was the least painful
of all my tats. I was nearly asleep and was slobbering on the chair while it was done.

Andy

Agree, when the tattoo'ist went over my spine it just felt like he was wobbling his finger on my back.

EDIT: got mine 12 years ago now, when i was young stupid and had different views, also got it done by a complete idiot. So its cack. Wish i'd never bothered. Always get funny looks on holiday when i'm round the pool or on the beach.

Cant say the spine hurt me either ive got one at the top and one in the middle.

Had one done a couple of days ago going all round the top of my arm...the under-neath of the arm hurt a hell of a lot more ;) lol

If you can't figure out for yourself what point I was addressing then I'm afraid I'm not going to help you.

"help"?

Oh please.

20 years ago did every shop girl and popstar have a tattoo? 30 years? Did you honestly think I was under the impression that the tattoo was invented in recent history?

Not keen myself. Do you really think you're the kind of person that tattoo would suit?

Mine didnt feel to bad on the spine, got used to it after a bit and felt quite pleasant towards the end.
My knee on the other hand, that hurt when she was tattooing on the kneecap.
Mind you after 6 hours of constant needling everything started to hurt, esp when she was cleaning it!

Booked :) - £350 - First session is this Friday, 2nd session is at the start of October :D

They were really cool people running it, they said as I did the trace etc myself I saved myself about £50 easily. And if it takes longer than 2 sessions it'll still be £350 - that's the final price.

Am chuffed! Canne wait!

Nice looks tatt Phate.

Gonna stretch my ear soon, when I get this kit through. Cheap on the bay.

Body modification is addicitive.

Good stuff, where are you going to have it done ?, where are you from.

Place called Tilbury Tattoo's - my sister and uncle have used them. Very nice and cool people, she explained everything, we had a bit of a laugh, the guy that does the tatts seems really cool as well. Should be fun!

Land of ESSSSEEEEX mate! innit!
brap brap! :p

EDIT: It's going to be on my upper back. The tatt at its widest is 14inches.

Cheers fella, and nice one although I don't see the point in ear stretching. But if you want it then go for it! :)
