Neighbours relocated to Devon. They sold their house to Kier Properties and twice in the last week the house has been vandalized with fixtures stollen. Last night was the worst as the intruders ripped a radiator along with copper piping off the wall. They were unconcerned about the noise they made.
I rang the Police and to be fair they arrived with a couple of minutes. They did a search of the area and knocked on my door to tell me the intruders had gone-and should I hear anything again, just give them a call.

Within 30 seconds of the police leaving the radiators were ripped off the wall and thrown across the room along with a huge copper cylinder tank. Next came the sound of rushing water. Shocked, I rang the police again only to find I had to wait in a que for 5 minutes whilst the vandals next door gutted the place. In turned out that the thieves were hiding in the house whilst the police were outside.:confused:
I'm carping it in case they take and destroy a gas appliance as they have already had a go at the gas fire in the building.

I am concerned the thieves will be back again tonight for the items they left behind. The only thing between them and the house being a piece of broken board and sticky tape: this being the letting agents attempt to make the property secure. I have sent them a mail saying that if there is an incident to my property as a cause of their negligence-I will be seeking redress. A little too late I feel :(

Go and hide in there tonight until they come with a buckets of bright green paint.

Tip the paint over them. Run like hell. Call police.

Finding two bright green men can't be that hard.

Why don't you just let them trash the place, then buy it cheap from Kiers. Then you can do it up and sell it.

err wouldn't they just trash it again once you do it up. All your doing is giving them a chance to steal more stuff and make some cash.

You can have an alarm and copious amounts of barbed wire! You might even be able to wound a vandal!

Thats a matter of opinion. Would be easier for the rest of us if you did as he suggested, even if he did do it in wrong manner.

Well there is, as we then don't have a chuffing clue who you've quoted, and can't quickly click the button to nip back and see.

Does spelling count as part of the style?

Although tbh based on how many times you've been asked, and how it actually takes you more effort to do it your way, I think your doing it for attention. Much like good old Mr Higgins did near then end, god rest his parenthesis.

to be honest, I moved house about 6 months ago, left y,m council house for my house I bought, and within 2 days of moving out, the house was broken into and gutted of the piping.
