Practice is all you require.
I did easy mode for about 4 tracks and thought, this is stupid easy... so moved to medium, which made me look rubbish, but within a day or two of playing I soon got used to using the 4th finger.
I've just moved up to hard mode and again I play like a nub, but I expect within a week or so when I get used to having to move my hand i'll be back on track again

Watching me play on Hard is absolutely hilarious. I must look like a demented seal slapping the fret buttons.
It's really odd - the girlfriend has GHOT on the DS and i'm currently 4 and 5 starring my way through the songs on Hard. So I can do it. I just don't know why I can't on the GH3 guitar.
I'll still get these though. I'll just have to play them on Easy!

Is it not because the On Tour only has 4 buttons, whereas Hard on GH3 uses all 5 buttons?
I can't do hard on GH3, Aerosmith or Rock Band. Get to about the 2nd or 3rd tier and then hit failsville

I can't even do a single song on Medium on GH3. The fact that the blue button is there just throws me out on all of them.
Sadly not, but well worth the cost...if you can handle it of courseso im guessing the dragonforce pack isnt free then

Even though im only playing on Medium...the new Dragonforce DLC is awesome. Definitely worth the 500 points!

Im enjoying playing them on hard. Can't do them on expert though and I've kind of gone off practicing stuff now, just play stuff for fun.
On a less great note, my les paul seems to be going bad, now the orange and blue buttons are a bit inconsistant

My red and orange started playing up, the neck was loose so i superglued it
I tried that but it wouldnt hold, so I cut up an old credit card and shoved it in the neck - now it doesnt budge!
I finished hard a couple of nights ago - was tough but I'm happy that I've done it
I would also say to the person stuck on Before I Forget & 3's & 7's put hyperspeed x3 on - it helped me pass those songs first time (when I realised I couldnt pass them)

Ultimately the best way is to dismantle the guitar and hard wire the connections for the buttons. Ive done this and now it works perfect as long as no jack off tries to take the neck off!
