In a word yes i think, i 'think' your creature is automatically put into a online universe with other players creatures but you can't actually control it
Where in my post does it say I will be downloading it?
I'm simply going to wait until they realise their mistake or buy it and use some kind of crack.

no i think it's their creatures you'll see, but you won't directly fight them or be able to communicate with the player that made them. i'm not sure at what point in their life cycle you see the creatures, but the review I've read (in pc gamer) talks about giant chair people and floating sniper rifles and stuff; all of which were made by random dudes on the internet.
so it's a single player game, no multiplayer. i guess it's like a new experience every time you play it, you're likely to face different player made creatures alongside the standard stock game creatures.

Since when has not buying a game been a crime? I haven't noticed anyone saying they were going to download the game. I myself will not be buying it, after all its just a game. I could do without having to prove I bought it to use it.

Its one of the places that games are usually cheap at, i cant say, but it has an online shop too.
I ordered it anyway, fingers crossed it works okay.

I think most ppl will not know what drm is, also that this game will appeal to the masses that bought the sims and their numerous add ons.
Its just has to be average - good and it will sell by the truck load.
I really honestly don't understand the DRM complaining people.
It needs to connect to the internet, once, when you first install the game.
Then you will only be allowed three installs at once. Beyond that is starting to get a bit silly anyway.

This is bad enough! what if I don't have an internet connection?
No, installing the game more then 3 times is NOT silly, its my right because i BOUGHT the god damn GAME! It IS a BIG DEAL
I will NOT be buying this.

Who doesn't have internet connection now a days? Having played numerous online games, I don't see the problem here.
You did not buy the game, you bought a license from EA to play and install it. EA can (in reason) put what it wants in the license.
