Classy cases? Thing of the past?

I agree with OP. That 201 looks gorgeous.

Although the ATC 110 was my favourite I think:

mmm now the 110 was one case that i could put up with a door for! I'm keeping my eye out now for another cm201 i think, but they are a bit old i think for them to show up on the used market too often :(

I personaly think the Lian Li PC-A17 is pritty much the only decent mid tower out. But it is a touch on the bland side.

LED fetstooned 'Gamer' cases are the future it seems. :(

all the lian li cases are classy and very well made

Their classy and well designed but they are so fragile its a joke. I actually scratched a black lian li with a callous I had on my hand.

I've only had contact with the a17 and pc-7 but i'm not impressed at all.

I'd just had enough of it tbh, too big and heavy too ebay.

Lovely case though, nice brushed alluminium front.

I know what you mean. I had an HTPC case, it cost a fortune but it was simply a solid block of aluminium on the front of a steel case. Ridiculously heavy.

I still use my Coolermaster 210 Azure.
Prettiest case ever made :D

It was when OCUK first got them, and they retailed for 240quid. I had to wait weeks for it t come into stock too after pre-paying iirc!

Anyone at OCUK know when they came in? Its got to be 2000-2001ish? Its been used daily since then.

The problem of using a HTPC cases are that they are often more noisy than a desktop. Its annoying that soo many have the sleek look to them that desktops in the current era are lacking - or at least within my price range.
