Breaking on SSN that Curbishley has resigned, mentioning something to do with being undermined in the transfer market.

They're also mentioning that Bilic is being lined up to replace him.

Interesting timing, with no-one really sure whether Keegan is still in a job the bookies could have a hard time deciding who to pay out on in the sack race :p

Keegan and the club have both announced that he's still manager. That's the only known fact in this soap opera.

Curbs to Newcastle then....

It never rains, it pours.

I'd quite like to see what Bilic can do in the EPL, he's a great character on the touch lines :D

Curbs wins the Premiership Sack Race then, closely followed by Keegan in second place?

Ashley probably had a bet on Curbs going first only just remembered so changed his mind about keegan for a couple days. :p

oh and a story doing the rounds that several first team players told Curbs where to stick it when he asked for more from them in the 2nd half against blackburn. Told him they'd saved him his job, that he's crap, etc, etc, etc. To be fair, he is being a joke, he is responsible, he made a bunch of terrible calls on transfers last year, wasted 14-15mil on Freddie when no one else on earth was as blind to his lack of fitness. mcCartney came from sunderland he just wanted to go home, no sense keeping him there, Pantsil was crap and utterly useless. At the end of the day, managers are responsible for what they do and theres no law, despite what fans think, that Owners simply have to throw money in on players the whole time because the fans want them to. He spent money irresponsibly and had his power cut back, same in most other companies when someone makes a mistake.

bilic might want to stick with his national side..he obviously loves the job and the team

world cup qualification might be a strong draw for him.

LOL

Didn't he say at the weekend that he wouldn't be leaving. Wish I put a tenner on him being first manager to leave now.

It would indeed be fab to see Bilic but I very much doubt it

sorry for Curbs but he really didnt have any choice

Good luck to him whatever he does

Dont think Keegan will go yet (although he seems to be on the brink), The manager is there to choose the team/squad week in week out and with x money bring in who ever he seems fit , it shouldnt be up to anyone else who is bought or sold imo

To be fair to the west ham owners, Curbishley spent money on some right dross, some of them have barely played a third of the matches since they have been at the club.

Its not something that he couldnt of known about either, Dyer for instance, all that money in wages, how amny games as he played?

Dyer and Ljungberg tbh both utter pish and past it

Too true as if he'd have watched any of Craig Bellamy or Kieron Dyers careers he'd have known one is a complete **** and the other is permanently crocked!

How those 2 keep getting 5-10 million transfer deals is anybodys guess!

If it wasn't for Curbs WH would be in the Champuionship right now.

He did a great job there. Unfortunately you buy decent players to play, you can't predict they're going to be crocked, Dyer broke his leg, just plane unlucky really. Faubert was MOTM against Blackburn now he's overcome his injuries and as long as Ashton, Upson and Parker remain fit they'll be finishing top 10.

fool you crazy? west ham suck , manager out, defense suck, midfield suck, forwards are BAD they will barely make the top 10 if they do but they wont you watch :) 5/5 in predictions so far and this wont be wrong neither :D

I had to laugh when I read the owner told Curbishley that their possible transfer money was going towards improving the medical facilities.
