Looks OK, but seems like the developers were more interested in destrustible enviroments rather than a half decent story.

If you have the choice, you should probably go for the PS3 version. There's a comparison video going around (no idea where online we had it shared at work) showing the ground textures being considerably worse on the 360. Not that they're particularly beautiful on the PS3....

I have both consoles but the Gamespot review was recommending the 360 version:

Mercenaries 2's visuals are inconsistent. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game are mostly similar, but the PS3 has some ugly aliasing problems.

great game, that can cater for most peoples tastes. for instance, if i dont get my own way in the first 30 seconds, i will just fire a few laser guided bombs and a daisy cutter in, and then get what i need, assuming the bombing aint done it for me

Has anyone got the game yet!? Would be good for some user opinions! Reading the Gamespot review put me off some what.
