I had the pure luck to get the opportunity to drive a Lamborghini Superleggera on Sunday.
Our work was running a supercar trackday at Knockhill and I volunteered to take a car up and back for the display. I was lucky enough to get the privelige to take the Superleggera! It's a round trip of 100 miles, but the trip home was a lot longer ;)

Anyway, stunning car, very focused, but still useable on the road. The noise from the 5 litre V10 is incredible, flicking the paddle down a gear and giving it full throttle was an incredible experience.
It's the first time I've ever driven a car and had people taking photo's on the way past. Never seem to get that when I drive my Sierra lol.

Anyway, not bragging, just sharing an experience

Thanks folks, completely incredible car, only 176 made worldwide; 76 in orange. The interior is carbon fibre/alcantara, still has Nav and climate as well.

Really made my week tbh, brought back a 997 Carrera 2S from Glasgow today, quick car, but really overshadowed by the Superleggera.

523bhp +1360kg = Power-to-weight of 384.56 bhp/ton
0-100 km/h 3.80 s
Top speed 315 km/h (196 mph)

:eek::eek::eek:

You have every right to brag my friend :D

Best colour too. I would be home late anyway, 'caught up in traffic' :p

I drove an R8 (again) and a 997 GT2 in the last 4 weeks, I choose not to share the fact of course and I am in no way annoyed that you have driven a SL and I haven't......nope, not in the slightest........honest...........really I'm not................all right a bit..........OK I am annoyed now move on! :D

Those Superleggera things are ugly.. Bright Orange!.. Now who would want to be seen driving one of those.

I hope you took the back roads so nobody saw you! ;)

For a moment I pictured a man running along in a giant OZ alloy wheel. :D

As it happens, I was somewhat wrong, and therefore I am rather envious.

There was one of these in the work car park on Wednesday!

When he started it up the boss said, "That's quite an old one is it?".

!! The fool. It was an orange and black one. You weren't parked on a car park in Stoke at any point were you? :p
