Sound? Buses aren't the quietest vehicles on the road, what with their air suspension and brakes etc

It looked like he head-butted the bus. There is no way he wouldn't have seen the bus if he'd just looked straight ahead. Who jumps over a barrier INTO A ROAD without looking where you're going?
 
I know the school, it's the Dumfries academy. He could well have run down the steps which don't give a view of the road until you are at the pavement. If he had enough momentum, he'd have commited to the jump. Not defending him, he's a fool and I hope he hasn't jeapordised the poor drivers career.
 
Absolute crazy to run and jump over a barrier on a main road, I have jumped over them but well climed over them when its been safe but a blind run, what was he expecting.

Not only that what are those 2 lads doing stood in the road in the cycle lane? Is it a rough school with retarded children?

Well spotted. Bet the two of them were having a race or something. The other kig who pegged it (never seen again in the footage) probably thought he was partly responsible.

You know who your mates are. Well, the injured kid will know if he ever sees the footage.

and they changed a second after he headbutted that bus, so if he waited there like a normal person he would have been fine and got over the road in under 10 seconds.

What an idiot, i doubt it even knocked any sense into him. I see ppl like him dicing with death every day, I dont know how to describe them, they just walk infront of your car expecting you to stop whilst staring you out and in no rush at all. Also the idiot on bikes weaving in and out of traffic and on the wrong side of the road.
 
Same thing happened to me. A group of kids came running towards a zebra crossing and one didn't stop and just ran straight into the road. Fortunately I was aware of the potential danger so was able to slam on the brakes just in time and only just touched him and he stayed on his feet.

Driving at school kicking out time is a dangerous business :(
 
That was stupid of the kid, luckily he didnt hurt himself more or even die. Feel sorry for the people on that bus though!
