Just a few highlights from this month mag,

Both Spore and Crysis Warhead are reviewed scoring 95% and 92% respectively. Both reviews speak very highly of both games but do point out a few flaws with both titles.

Theres a nice big feature on Warhammer online if your into that.

But the thing that really caught my eye was on one of the last pages, with the advert for next month showing,

Deus Ex 3 :eek:

Now that is something to look forwad to as I've yet to see any real in game screenshots
 
Spore is good :) Only 3 odd hours into it mind,

can't they have more Wrath of the Lich King info :P

Good reviews. I enjoyed Crysis a lot and both games are on my buy list.
 
Is that a typo? Or is 'this' months magazine really the November issue? I know we don't have the weather but it still sort of summer!!

Christmas in a few weeks huh?

Same, i ain't bought a Magazine since i found out about Kotaku, Engadget, Joystiq, 1up etc. But they are ok for a quick snoop through on holiday.

I'd rather wait until theirs an online review or preview.

LOL WUT

So you have to be a 'pathetic slug' to check IGN every couple of weeks when a new game comes out? Heck the web is far better than magazines and so many people these days (especially gamers) will have web access.

I sometimes pick up a magazine when flying (plane of course :p) or on a road/train trip, but otherwise it has to be the internet.

I understand where you're coming from, I certainly wouldn't buy any of the console mags, never found one thats particularly well written. I've been subscribing to PCZ for years though and find it a brilliant read, much better than stuff like IGN and Gamespot.

having said that - i do hve a sub to custom pc - didnt pay for it though
 
Cheers for the heads-up, Deus Ex3 :eek: interesting...

I buy Edge magazine regularly and sometimes GamesTM both are brilliant games magazines. I used to buy PCZone and PC Gamer but haven't bought an issue from them for over a year now...
 
I sub to GamesTM, PC Zone and Custom PC. I still like to have a material magazine to sit and read whilst gaming.
 
Warhead gets 92% and only 5 hours of gameplay......it must be awesome to be honest!

I always trust the PCZ reviews and cant wait to get my hands on that game now! :D
