That, is a SHOCKING team selection.

There is at least 5 players in that line up that shouldnt even be in contention for the squad let alone starting.

Depends which way you look at it. All of them (apart from Walcott, like you say) are the best we have available atm so should be in the squad but none of them are International standard and it's pretty shocking that they're representing one of the so called top footballing nations.

What i meant was that none of those players should be good enough to play for us.

Which one of those have shown they care about playing for England? Only James has played enough to make an opinion on and he's admitted previously that some England games he hasn't got himself properly prepared for so he's clearly not too fussed.

They aren't good enough but they're the best we have :(

James - Foster? (Unproven)
Johnson - Brown (Neither are International quality but who else is there?)
Worf - Ferdinand
Walcott - Bentley (Neither are International quality but who else is there?)
Downing - Young (Should've been in the squad at the very least)
Defoe - Owen

It's pretty shocking how poor we look these days. We haven't got an international standard keeper, rb or wide players, we've got 2 cb's we can rely on and our only strikers that have scored regularly can't get in the squad :(
