Im watching some old Louis Theroux - Wierd Weekends shows on Dave right now so im wondering what other people think of him?

I think he is so funny at times, the way he can ask questions with such a straight face, and the faces he pulls when he gets some of the answers.

I think hes brilliant, although i imagine he might annoy people too.

What do you think of him?

I think he's just fantastic simply because he has an inhuman ability to be completely neutral, no matter what. He always embraces every ones way of life, he never belittles it unless confronted, if left to his own devices he is willing to sit back and observe some of the most strange, funny and disturbing things people have ever done without showing any form of opinion unless asked.

Yeah thats what makes him so entertaining to watch, he doesnt seem to have any biased opinions, or if he does have his opinion, he never seems to force it, he just makes comments that naturally come into the conversation.

Im watching him now on Dave at some swingers party, its funny how he can remain so straight faced when hes asking questions that would normally embarrass people, the way he can just stand and look at people as they stumble over answers is impressive lol

Just done a search and saw the mahoosive thread,

Sorry guys!, merge this into that if you want or just delete it :D

Only ones I have ever watched were the prison one and the Vegas one, both very poor, superficial, poorly researched ( certainly the Vegas one ) amd amateur presentation

He highlights some important issues, but I'm starting to find him a bit annoying. He often comes across as quite condescending.

yes. He's condescending and thats why he annoys me, although I have a tiny bit of respect for him for getting into the situations he gets in in the first place.

Pretty much this

Think ive seen the majority of his documentaries, really good. But sometimes watching them really winds me up, ie the one that was on 15mins ago, something to do with racism I think. One of the guys he was talking to just really wound me up instantly

I love his documentaries. He basically just lets the characters of the people he's documenting shine through - which makes for a compelling watch.

Love his shows, some are quite old. My favorite episode is where he meets Chris Eubank and the wrestlers one :D, Really enjoyable program for the reason explained above, he is completely natural with whoever he interviews.
