*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

Haha gotta love other forums, especially over at warhammeralliance. I can see crying, crying, crying and more crying. It's just "they epic failed", "knew it would have crap goa!!!11" etc etc etc.

Suggest it may be getting hammered. Would have been better for everyone if they had opened it at 11PM last night that way hard core people could have gotten there accounts instead it's just going to be hammered for the next few hours at least.

I guess they didn't give the timezone either... so technically it could still be open at 8.30AM.

cannot get in.

Try again tonight i suppose.

Is there any other way for a company to do these things?

Why didn't they allow for registration for a few weeks beforehand? Instead of the day the thing goes live? People will be panicking and spamming the F5 button as they don't want to miss out and are dying to see the hype.

It's because it's open beta, if this happens for launch they would have a right earfull as people would be paying and still not getting on. I am just going to check back every now and again and finally get it registered, im not paying for it, i really want to play it but im not really bothered about registering a few hours later.

Whilst waiting to register i'm keeping myself amused by reading the numerous whine threads on other forums.
You would think someone had just killed their Mum the way some people are reacting.

Well we never saw a time zone so we are still guessing its GMT+0 - there may be a statement later saying it was really GMT+1 - lol

I certainly think it would have been better to have the beta users registering early rather than this.

Which would have meant the registration pages would have opened at 7:30 GMT  Yet they are not.

It's quite funny really, im eating breakfast in my living room, watching tv and every now and again f5'ing in not bothered really. Yet there are others swearing, getting upset, angry and so on over a delayed open beta start.

I would say the only thing bothering me is the site is all in flash unlike the american site and when signing up it isn't secure which i don't like and i would feel unsure sticking my credit card details into.
