Without the dole, Scotland would end up like Somalia. If Scotland was made totally independent, the 10% of the population who actually work would not be able to support the 90% who draw benefits, especially as that 10% of workers are doing the double.

England actually pay's for it's resources though, the Scottish use English tax money for free prescriptions/uni fees/pensions, If they want to be independent they can pay for this with their own money, not ours!
