How can you say that without seeing the car. It could be immaculate and in perfect order - I admit it is unusual to find AUC cars with more than 100k on the clock but thats not to say they don't exist. There have been examples - like I said the one I saw was a 120k mile 320d SE, 2002, for 7995. It didnt last very long and it wasn't there when I visited the dealer in person a few weeks later so I guess somebody must have bought it?

There were cars in far worse condition actually on site that day, there was an e46 m3 there that had more wear on the leather and mould in the boot, made mine look new
personally i'll be thinking they wont shift an M3 and will be offering him a deliberately un-competitive offer to A) offset their losses on this car and B) to try to minimise the risk of this car being sat on a forecourt for months with people saying they dont want an M3, they want one of "them ultra cheap diesel models"
If they offer him deliberately uncompetitive prices, the buyer is likely to sell it themselves,with 0 risk to them.
This is hard to call. There are two ways they could play this.
a) They realise that flogging a £26k Z4M Coupe is harder than flogging a nice, 'cheap', approved used M3 and reckon swapping the Z4M for some cash and a nice AUCable M3 is the way to go.
b) They are sick of M Power cars on their forecourt and offer you an uncompetitive, below book price to discourage you from trading the M3 in.
What is yours, 03/03 with 50k or so isn't it?

It will be MP3 compatible - it's basically the Z4 equivilent of HK.
I don't personally think that pushing for £15k for yours is THAT unreasonable, really, but I'd expect their initial offer to come in low.
Don't get too hung up about the tradein offer because its the cost to change that matters the most - work out the most you wish to pay to change cars, and then go from there. It's up to them how they jiggle around the price of the Z4M versus the tradein for yours, it makes no odds to you whether they give you 15k for yours and sell you that for 26k or give you 13k and sell you it for 24k really does it?

they are quite obviously the best m3 wheel there is

As i said earlier in the thread, they only offered me 4k for mine, no wonder AUC cars are getting so cheap they dont pay anything for them
