I was on my way home from London Victoria and as it was 7am, i stopped into the McDonalds...i had the double sausage and egg muffin thingy and it actually wasn't that bad! :o And the pancakes don't look that bad either...i never eat 'normal' McDonalds though, ew.

Edit: What are the Subway breakfasts like? Does BK offer a breakfast also?

Horribly fatty, but sooo good esp after a night out. The pancakes aren't v nice tho imo.
BK do offer a brekkie, and it's much the same as the McD one.

McDonalds every now an then as a treat -> Lovely
McDonalds every few days -> Ugh.

It's terrible food but it tastes good when you haven't had it in a while

LOL NO

Had it after a night out in Birmingham, never again - Felt sick all day.

Never. Again.

I have a weak spot for sausage and egg mcmuffins. I was waiting for my flight home to the UK in Kuwait when I decided to treat myself to one. Tasted good, but I still haven't figured out what the sausage was made of considering pork is banned. Tasted identical too.

Subway breakfasts look rank.

The eggs at McDonalds are actually real eggs too :p They come in egg form then the guys cook them like you would at home. Pancakes come pre-made and they just get warmed up but they look exactly the same as the one's you'd get from a supermarket.

The only thing on the breakfast menu that isn't made the same as you would at home is the sausage (comes in that shape) and the egg for the pancakes comes in a liquid form. The carbon that comes off the sausage is pretty horrid though. There's loads of it.

Well, there you go. I didn't think my experience at McDonalds during college would be useful. I was wrong :p

im partial to a pancake and sausage meal with syrup and a hash brown.

Ive not had one for a few months though, when i eat one, i end up eating them on 3 or 4 days in a row.

Gotta love McDonalds' double sausage & egg McMuffin with a dollop of BBQ sauce! Though I only ever have them on the way home after a night out, or if I'm running late and have skipped breakfast.

Has anyone bothered with their healthy options?

I mean..seriously, people go to McDonalds knowing what they eat is junk, they just buy it because its nice. Why go to McDonalds for a salad, like one of those Happy Meals with salad.

I wouldn't be very happy if someone got me a happy meal with salad.

I have a Maccy D's breakfast whenever I go up to Wales on business (once a fortnight usually) and although I love the taste I always end up sweating fat through my pores for the rest of the day..urgh!"

The Bacon rolls are really good nowadays and I really love the sausage bagels.

I went to a McD's the other night, ordered a meal and they'd run out of chips...the guy said 'Well you can have it with carrots if you want'. I laughed, then went to BK.

Although the meat is not of very high quality I take a bacon and egg mcmuffin meal sometimes. The coffee isn't bad I have to say.

Do I do prefer if possible a proper "full english" somewhere else tho.

McD's bacon, sausage and egg McMuffin (as a special order, it's not on the menu) win, but they don't fill you up :( Give me the local butty/toastie shop any day... Fried steak and onion stuffed into a full 14" French stick with pepper, mustard and brown sauce for £1.80, or bacon sausage and egg on toast with pepper and brown sauce for £1.50 \o/

how can you say the meat isnt high quality?
The bacon is decent bacon in the new bacon rolls, and the eggs are eggs...
a full english elsewhere is more likely to be crappy sausagemeat(not saying that mcds isnt though!)
