Most suprising movie deaths

another for Bridge to Terabithia

totally out of the blue, very sad too

Kevin Spacey in American Beauty

an already mentioned Samuel Jackson in Deep Blue Sea

Didn't Spacey's character narrate something at the start of the film about he was going to die soon? Much like Sunset Boulevard I suppose.

Did the same thing happen in Donnie Darko or was that 'unexpected'?

I agree with Sam Jackson in the deep blue see, classic moment as you knew something was about to happen, i remember all my mates burst out laughing when it happening as we though it was so funny.

At that point I remember thinking 'If SLJ doesnt have to sit through the rest of this **** then why should I?' and promptly left the cinema.

Its pretty obvious he did die... why on earth hold a public funeral for him?

From seeing it twice - he died. He's dead.

To Preserve his 'White Knight' memory within Gothem!... Not many people saw him go 'Nut-Bar' with Gordons Family... so thats not the last living memory they want for Gothem!... Better he be remembered as a 'Martyr' killed off by some nut-job 'Vigilanty' taking the law into his own hands (against everything Dent stood for!!) in a black mask, than a Nut-Job himself with half a face Killing off the Commissioners Family!...

I recon He'll be back and most Gothemites probly won't put two and two together and see that 'Two Face' was 'Harvey Dent'... :p

Thanks :) although I already knew the answer to my question... perhaps I should had added 'otherwise' as the last word :p

He's deader than a dead thing which is already very dead :p

bruce willis in 6th sense..
I can't believe this went 60 posts before that was brought up. Almost as though everyone on this forum saw it coming a mile away.

Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black.
Erm, didn't Pitt play Death?

Whatever his name is in Cruel Intentions.
Yeah, I didn't expect Sebastian to actually bite it, either. It was amazing how much you got into his character throughout the movie. Quite a good ending, that.

I have to agree with Wash in Serenity. I could have coped if it was just Shepherd Book, but if Wash is dead, even if they do bring back the series, it'll never be the same :(

Layer Cake was the first thing that came to mind. Despite having seen Gillys post saying he didn't die. :p

Deep Blue See also caught me by suprise :p

I can't really say because it will be a major spoiler for you lot as the films not out yet over here. But it came out a couple of weeks ago in the states when i was there. Very early death, very sudden. Even moreso than Deep Blue Sea. Made me lol hard :p

I'm sure it will be mentioned in this thread when people start seeing it ;)

Zeberdee- Football Factory.

was about to post that one too :) Cant forget his grandad's mate either.... :)

Whats his face out of Green Street too, but lets not talk about that due to it being a crap film.

How about the little lad out hunting with his dad in AVP2? That was pretty shocking!

Charlie Hunnam (Pete Dunham) is who you're thinking of I assume - I don't mind suspending disbelief but Elijah Wood as a football hooligan is pushing the boundaries of what I can mentally adjust for.

yea it was Pete i was thinking of. Indeed, and the accents throughout the film were simply appauling, as was the rhyming slang etc that was really overly used..
It is a pretty gash film when you stand it up to the likes of Football Factory really, actually, compare it to anything and its still gash.
