PES 2009 Gameplay Footage

thing is (if you have a decent PC) Pes ran well on Pc anyway. In offline play i never get any lag whatsoever. Thats in the unpatched version too, i dont bother putting the patch on as for the pc version all it does is reduce the graphics and nothing else.
 
I want PES to be like PES 3-4 but I don't want to give Konami anymore of my money after I gave them £40 for the diabolical that was 2008.
 
I am reluctant to get this as it looks exactly the same as every other version of PES. Whilst I have loved almost every other version the fact that I would be shelling out £30+ for another version where the only difference would be that the squad list are up to date. I would then have to spend another 5 hours updating all the team names, badges, kits etc. all just to play the same game as before. It even looks like you play in the same way, run down the wing, cross, score, or just hit it from the edge of the box.
 
I hate to say it seeing as I used to despise the series so much, but Fifa 08 is a fantastic game, a much more realistic depiction of football than PES 2008, and Fifa 09 looks even better. Unless the demo of PES absolutely blows me away there will be only one football game I will be buying this year.
 
Looks the exact same as PES 2008 to me.

Kinda off topic, is there a way to disable the cut scenes every 2 frigging minutes?
 
Jeuxvideo never works for me at work :( The video just endlessly loads and never actually plays.

Never mind, last video I saw of PES2009 looked much the same old ****!
 
As long as the gameplay is as good I dont care, local MP nothing touches it. It was only the lag that stopped me enjoying it online.
 
Even though it's still very similar to previous offerings, 2008 was so poor that I miss playing PES. I can still see me buying this even though I'm fed up with Konami and think EA are doing a much better of job of improving FIFA and listening to the fans.

I'll buy FIFA 09 first and then I'll wait and see, probably wait a month or so until it drops in price as it's probably not going to be worth £40.
