I hunt, i eat what i kill. It is also necessary to control numbersof certain species (deer, rabbits, fox etc)
Its a proven fact that land used for hunting/shooting is better for wilflife etc due to the management and conservation that owners undertake

for pest control the 17 is a better choice, more accurate, flatter trajectory, only downside is ammo cost
