Your preference of drink..!!

Reading a few threads regarding choice of beer /larger etc……. Just curious to know what you all prefer…

I myself, for some strange reason only prefer Becks or Becks Vier I can’t drink the whole can or bottle etc of any other brands….. I can drink Becks all night long and if I go to a restaurant or pub and Becks or Becks Vier isn’t on sale, I just get a soft drink….. I kid not.!! Friends and Family find it odd that I can down a Becks in less time I could drink a soft drink yet won’t touch anything else and rather go t-total.. lol

Guess I’m a picky drinker..!!
 
You have no taste buds sir, becks is not bad pint by any stretch but in a blindfold test i think you would be hard pushed to tell the difference between similar strength lagers.
 
I enjoy a pint of Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

Brother said the same......:p Keeps saying he'll trick me one day by filling a glass with something else and give it to me when I'm round his place.... To date, no idea if he has or hasn't done this...... :D

I don't think he has, I do like my Becks.....
 
Ale, the darker the better. I'm partial to the odd cider too (not chemically crap like strongbow) :)

Lager just tastes like rotting stuff turned into chemicals to me.
 
For me it varies on how I'm feeling, what's available and even what the weather is. As a general guide I'd usually drink the below in preference to most others.

Beers/lagers - Deuchars, Belhaven Best, Erdinger, Weihenstephane, Budvar.
Spirits - good vodka (Russky Standart, Stolichnaya sort of level) and mixer, Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire and tonic, OVD & coke. Summer has to have at least a few Pimms & lemonades though.
Wine - usually red, maybe a Temperanillo.

I can and do drink almost anything though.
 
If I'm in a pub I'll have cider, and none of this namby pamby Magers/Bulmers stuff, real proper scrumpy...if they have it, which most places don't. So I'm normally relegated to Magners/Bulmers/Strongbow (the last one 'cause it's cheap, but can't really be classed as a cider, just an apply chemical mix).

If I'm in a club then it'll most likely be vodka with a mixer, normally Redbull. :)

At home though, proper ciders, decent wines, champagnes, anything that isn't whisky or a beer/larger. :)
