Your preference of drink..!!

Home - Red Wine. Preferably a Côtes du Rhône or if I have a wedge in the wallet, a good Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Bar - Coors Light if I can find one that sells it. If not then Peroni, Cobra or Tiger. The only short I will drink is Tanquery or Bombay Sapphire with Bitter Lemon, yum yum!!

One thing I hate beyond belief is how magner/bulmers/all the new rubbish branded cider has somehow instilled this culture of drinking it over ice. I mean why?

I went to a pub back home a few weeks ago, asked for a bottle of westons organic, which I've been drinking there since I was about 16, I got given a glass of ice this time, never in years of drinking it has ice even been offered before. I mean, what the hell?

I can understand it with Magners, it helps disguise the utterly bland taste but with decent cider what were they thinking...

I know what you are saying.. I usually drink it straight from the bottle.. but its rather nice with ice if its a really hot day.. then again, they are far and between here in England! :p

Magners though.. wouldn't drink it even if I got payed to drink it! (Well, maybe if it was several thousands of ££££!)

Ale ale ale ale ale!

Sadly I'm back home at the moment and most people take the 'only poms drink warm beer' stance and you can only get lager :(

I very rarely drink beer, I just don't particularly like it. Usually I drink Southern Comfort or one of a few whiskeys... JD, Jim Beam (prefer black), Wild Turkey. I prefer JB and WT to JD, but JD's more widely available. I drink them with coke or ginger ale.

Corona, Sol, XX (maybe you can tell I've been in Mexico all summer :D), Grey Goose, 42 Below, good Riojas :)

And my personal favourite, some 60% Jamaican rum we picked up in the Bahamas :D

Edit: And how could I forget Gem, a fantastic ale :)

Now the only shop I know that sells it is Sainsbury.. does anyone know if any other places has it?
Go to your local off licence and request it? Im sure most would be willing to pick it up at the warehouse while they were there for the rest of their stock!

Normally at home il probably drink Corona or Budweiser, from the tap i love Budvar and Amstel. Only been to one pub with Budvar on tap though :(

Asda, Sainsburys and tesco all stock it round my way and the same for leicester, never had a problem getting it, although more bars seem to have it now.

I'm not a fan of Gin and Tonic (or ale, I think I dislike strong tastes), but recently I tried 'Gin and Lemonade', which although quite girly... I really liked it! Any one else tried it?

Beer is Kronenburg 1664.

Many people like cocktails?

I'll drink them happily enough but apart from Mojitos/Mohitos and maybe a good Moscow Mule I won't usually go out of my way to drink them.

Yep, I've had it and you're right it is kinda girly. You may however like to try peach schnapps and lemonade if you haven't already, rather a sweet taste but easy to drink which it sounds like you might like.

Depends what mood I'm in really.

I really enjoy Penderyn whiskey, as well as Jim Beam.

SoCo is nice, I really dislike JD for some reason.

Lagers... Tsingtao is very nice, Carling or Carlsberg are my normal port of call. *dons flame-proof coat and hat*

Indestructible (cocktail) is fantastic, it's Absinthe, Vodka and Redbull but it tastes wonderful and goes down an absolute treat. I could drink that all night (if it wasn't so bloomin' expensive)... don't think I'd be standing very long though :p
