Great quality video of the EDC crash at Silverstone

It was massive, we were stood in the balcony of the Brooklands centre so it happened pretty much right infront of us, it was an almighty impact :eek:

Almost looks like he was nudged, but judging by their reactions with each other I'd say it was totally accidental.

Infact he looks too far behind in the gold car to have made contact.
 
Now THAT's a sport, as defined by the reactions when it goes wrong. Hope there's no lasting physical or financial damage, I see there are some substantial sponsors there.

The white car (being driven by Shane Lynch of ex-Boyzone fame) snapped back the wrong way after he started to initiate the drift (21secs into the vid).

That's not good! Looking at the images as well as the video the gold skyline driver is lucky to be walking after that, the impact is right where his legs would be.

Seemingly the floor was pushed in 15" at the cage mounting point, lucky to still have his feet! Cage did a pretty good job though considered, imagine how ****ed up that seat would be without the mandatory door bars!
